1. The amount of Full-time PhD Fellowship has been enhanced under the 'Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT' w.e.f. 01-04-2019. Now the current rate of fellowship is Rs.38,750/- per month in 1st and 2nd years, and Rs.43,750/- per month in 3rd, 4th and 5th years of PhD.

 2. The Reimbursement of Rent (RoR), which is linked to the amount of Full-time PhD Fellowship @ 10%, 20%, 30% as per GOI norms has also been increased accordingly, w.e.f. 01-04-2019.
