The maximum period of support to the PhD fellowship under "Visvesvaraya PhD scheme" is 5 years or PhD completion whichever is earlier.
PhD Completion Guidelines
A. Either relieving of the PhD candidate from the Institute in the form of a letter or Award of PhD to the Candidate, whichever is earlier will be treated as the completion of PhD. B. Following documents need to be submitted to PhD Cell:
- Copy of the Thesis along with the Research papers/Abstracts.
- Details of IPR filed and outcome/status.
- Present Status of placement/employment.
